Robert “Bob” Sheets, 72, of Hixson passed away, Tuesday, October1, 2024 in Chattanooga. He was born September 28, 1952, in Dearborn, Michigan to the late John T and Barbara Sheets.
Bob was retired from Colonial Baking Company after 32 years of service. He was a true American hero, serving in the US Navy, CPR instructor with the Red Cross and a volunteer fire fighter with Dallas Bay fire department for 24 years. He loved the lake and boating.
Survivors include his sons, Robert Scott Sheets and Raymond Dale Sheets, grandson, Hunter Memphis Sheets, brothers, Tom Sheets and Jim Sheets and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 Friday, October 4 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 3:00 Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
