Mr. Robert “Bobby” Dwight Owens, 63, of Hixson, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016. Bobby was a native Chattanoogan, born on March 14, 1953 to the late Clark A. and Ella Mae (Stout) Owens. Bobby was a loving husband and dad and enjoyed boating. He was a carpenter with Bruce Goodwin Construction for over 30 years. He was of the Baptist faith. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents as well as his grandparents, Fred and Bertha McNabb. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Kathy H. Owens; children, Chip and Chad Owens, Traci Jennings, Brad Sharp, Janice Sharp, Renea Sharp, and Brice Sharp; 9 grandchildren; brothers, Lonnie Skyles, William Owens, and David Owens; sister, Kim Dodd; and several aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 13th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Thursday, April 14th at 2:30 PM. Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
