Richard Bryan Johnson, 78, of Chattanooga died on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. He was a faithful and long-time member of Red Bank Baptist Church. He was retired from Dupont.

Richard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Deanna; sons Bryan (Rusty) and Brent; a daughter, Ragan; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2-5 pm on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the funeral home with a funeral service following at 5 pm with Dr. Fred Steelman and Rev. Bill Harvey officiating. There will be a private burial.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to Bible in the Schools, P.O. Box 4228, Chattanooga, TN 37405 and Red Bank Baptist Church Building Fund, 4000 Dayton Blvd, Chattanooga, TN 37415.

Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
