We are celebrating a life well lived.  He loved all his family and his friends that he has cherished for a long time.  We will truely miss talking or visiting with him here on earth but are awaiting our joyous day when we will see him and Mamaw again. We will cherish the memories as long as we live. Thank you all who came to comfort him in the hospital and also for the comfort shown to his family after his earthly death. We will ALL miss Pappaw, a wonderful man, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Sadden to hear of Mr. Daniels passing.  Richard and Rachel and family we know you will miss your papaw, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

My thoughts go out to you and your family. I grew up with Tracy. You will be missed Mr. Daniels. I hope to see you in Heaven, my friend.

Although you aren't here with us anymore, you will always be a huge part of our hearts and you will always be remembered as the sweet, strong, goofy man you were. I wish I could hug your neck one last time and let you know how much I love you.

 Papaw Daniels was like my own grandfather, he has always been there for me and loved me like I was one of his own. I will never forget the love that wonderful man showed to everyone. He had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I had ever met. When I was 18 he took me into his home and helped me get on my feet. I can honestly say that I would not be the person I am today without him. Words can't describe how heartbroken I am that he is gone, or the pain I feel for all of his precious family. I got to see first hand how much each one of his sons, mother, grandchildren and great grandchildren loved him and how much he absolutely adored them. Of course anyone who met Papaw loved him. He was a blessing in my life and he will always be a part of my heart. I know his faith was strong and I know he is so happy to be in the arms of Jesus and to be surrounded by his loved ones. Goodbye isn't forever, it is only for right now. So, as badly as we are all hurting, we can at least cling to the knowledge that we WILL see his sweet face again. Sarah, Amanda, and Josh...I know how much you all loved him and how he was like a father to you all. My words could never be enough to take away the pain that you all are feeling, as much as I wish they could. I love all of you so much. You each have a part of him in you, so I know how strong you are. You will get through this with the help of the Lord and with the love of so many people around you. My heart is absolutely broken knowing that you all are having to deal with the loss of your sweet Papaw. I am praying for you and I love you.

Papaw Daniels is the way I have always known him. He is my bestfriends grandfather and I know he was a wonderful man. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of their Wonerdful and Greatly loved Papaw, Mr. Daniels. I am sure the all the Angels smiled and danced when they saw him coming through those Golden Gates of Heaven and the loved ones whom went before, were their to greet him with open arms.Love and comfort to you all, Lisa Skinner

Richard has been a neighbor of ours for 50 years and he was always active in the Port Serena Home Owners Assoc. He will be missed greatly in this neighborhood. RIP Richard.
