Norma Jean Vaughn, age 76, of Chattanooga died Tuesday, November 22, 2011. She was born February 22, 1935 the daughter of the late Jay Beecher and Mary Corrine (Morgan) Burgess. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Burgess. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of New Home Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband James E. Vaughn, Sr.; sons James E. (Angela) Vaughn, Jr., Jay David (Brenda) Vaughn and Glenn Travis (Tiffany) Vaughn; grandchildren Erika Vaughn, Jami Vaughn, Holly Vaughn, Regina Vaughn, Whitney Vaughn, Kayla Vaughn and Isaac Vaughn; sisters Joyce (Dan) Haynes, Judy Burgess; brothers Gary (Sheila) Burgess and Dean Burgess; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held Friday November 25, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Elder Mark Haynes officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 and Friday morning from 9:30-11.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Hospice of Chattanooga and Dr. Ivey Williamson.
