Norma Henry Johnson, of Hixson, left us on May 3, 2021. She was born on June 16, 1927 to Carl and Lorraine Finster Henry and lived most of her childhood in Kingston, Tennessee. She retired from the safety department at DuPont with 35 years of service. Norma loved gardening, working puzzles, and traveling.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Carlain (Curtis) Hicks: granddaughters, Lucy (Sammy) Boyd and Mandy (Scott) Stewart; great grandchildren, Ayesha Swafford and Matt Stewart; great great grandchildren, Jannah, Maryam, Ibrahim, and Fatima; siblings, Joyce (Jay) Coffman, Carl Henry, and Clyde (Benilda) Henry; and the love of her life, George Bethel.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 6 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel with a private family graveside service to follow.
