She was born August 8, 1926 in Chattanooga to the late Sallie & James Helton, Sr.
Mrs. Williams was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and had worked at the church nursery for over 40 years. She was a 1944 graduate of Central High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Edward Williams; siblings, J. T. Helton, Jr., Louise Wooden, Alline Burns, and Johnny Helton; and brothers-in-law, Bill Wooden, Nickey Bowman, Max Murray, and Doug Sisemore.
Survivors include her son, Rick (Becky) Williams of Hixson; daughters, Pam (Tim) Stafford of Nashville and Tracey (Bill) Bozeman of New Orleans; grandchildren, Emily (Chris) Hannan, Jessie Bozeman, Philip Stafford, and K.C. Stafford; great-grandchildren, J.W. Hannan, Lila Rose Hannan, and Arden Hannon; siblings, Bernice Sisemore, Peggye Bowman, Joanne (Jim) Splawn, Christine Murray, and Kenneth (Diane) Helton; and brother-in-law, Ken Burns; sister-in-law, Linda Helton; numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and close friend Rosa Collins.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bill Harvey officiating.
Due to Covid-19, all social distancing guidelines set in place by the CDC must be followed. Hamilton County mandates that facial coverings be worn by all who attend services.
