Lester Lee Shell, Jr., 71, of Chattanooga passed away on July 18, 2018. He was a Godly man that loved his family, jokes, magic tricks and fishing. Lester also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play baseball, watching NASCAR, antique cars and was a big UT football fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester “Leck” and Katherine Shell; brother, Larry Shell and sister, Barbara Tate.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Linda Shell; children, David Scott (Mandy Tindell) Shell and Steven Michael (Mandy Yother) Shell; five grandchildren, Hunter, Marley, Sam, Braden and Abby; brother, Randy (Kim) Shell.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Sneed officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
