Kenneth Charles Martin, 74, of Hixson died Tuesday, September 13, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. and Margaret Martin, and a brother, Billy L. Martin. He was a member and deacon for Abba’s House. He was the Chairman of the Board for Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department and he served on the board for the North River YMCA.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Maxine Martin; son, Kenny Martin; sisters Bernice Brock and Lillian (Bill) Ray.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, September 16 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 Thursday.
