Katherine Louise Stafford, 97, of Chattanooga died on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at her home.
She was born on Oct. 27, 1921, in East Ridge, Tennessee, to the late Reuben and Roxie Scott Parker. She was a member of Ringgold Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph E. “Tip” Stafford; daughter, Shelia Gay Mason; sons, Douglas Dean Davenport, Stephen Michael Davenport and Preston Clay Stafford; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Minister Mike Gurganus officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Friday.
