Karen Marie Gilmore

October 20, 1956 – April 6, 2025

Karen Marie Gilmore passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, James Gilmore; her mother and stepfather, Shannon and Ray Waller; her uncle, Doug Wooddy (Patsy) and aunt, Elizabeth Giffin (Buddy).

Karen was a great sister and friend. She had a great sense of humor, loved her nephew and celebrating the holidays. She was a member of the local VFW.

Karen loved animals deeply and supported many charities throughout her life. She really missed having a cat the last few years after losing her cat, Sassy.

She had a kind heart. Most everyone who met her became a longtime friend. She was truly one of a kind.

Karen you are loved and missed and will never be forgotten. Your loving family and friends.

Left behind to cherish Karen’s memory are her sister, Tiffany Parker (Aaron); nephew, Austin Parker (Paige); brothers, James Gilmore (Daisy) and his children, Victoria, Solomon and Gabrielle and their families and Charles Gilmore; uncle, Charles (Jeri) Wooddy; cousins, Cindy Moresi (Kenny) and their children, Camden and Michael (Bill); Chuck Wooddy (Leslie) and daughter, Lauren; Chris Wooddy and his children, Dakota and Maria; lastly her dear friends, Leanne and Jeanne Beauxbeannes.
