Lesley was a lifelong resident of Signal Mountain and worked for the town of Signal Mountain for 38 years. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteer, and Atlanta Braves fan. He loved spending his time off camping by the lake and fishing, spending time with his family and playing card games.
Lesley was preceded in death by his father Jim Otis Hicks senior, Mother Nancy Kay Neal Hicks, and brother Frankie Hicks.
He leaves behind to honor his memory his wife of 24 years, Sheila Reed Hicks; son, Hayden (Katelyn) Hicks; step son, William Sharp; 3 grandchildren, Josie & Kollyns Hicks, and Ethan Sharp; Siblings, Jim Otis Jr. (Lori) Hicks, Debbie Collier, Carol Cagle, Donna (Paul) Warren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 25th from 4-8 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 26th at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 Hwy 153, Hixson, TN.
