She was born in Lancaster, PA on October 2, 1930, and spent most of her life as a loving wife and mother in Soddy Daisy, TN. She remained deeply devoted to her Christian faith and serviced the community as a volunteer at Memorial Hospital for over 20 years.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 70 years John W. Musser and is survived by two daughters Cynthia Painter and Sharon Walker (husband Ronnie), three grandsons Clint Walker (wife Krissy), Matthew Painter (wife Lindsey) and, Jonathan Musser (wife Katie) and six great grandchildren Barrett and Murphy Walker, Jack and Benjamin Painter, and Crew and Charlotte Musser.

A graveside for Joan will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 TN-153, Chattanooga, TN 37343.
