Janice was born and raised in Hamilton County, TN. She had previously lived in Clearwater, Florida where she worked at a water treatment plant. She had worked the past 3 ½ years at Pilgrim’s Pride, and enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family that she loved, and gave willingly all that she had. She was also a faithful follower of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Delores Smith Pickering.
Surviving are her sister, Debbie C. Catlett; niece, Shannon C. Dent; and nephew, Larry (Sherri) Dent.
There will not be any visitation at the funeral home.
Graveside Services will be at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
