Mr. James Kevin Shipman

Kevin was an avid NASCAR and Alabama fan, and during any free time he enjoyed riding dirt bikes with his son. He had been employed with Titan Heating and Air before his illness.

Kevin gave his life to Jesus and immediately experienced a very real comfort and peace.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emily Jo Shipman; grandparents, Harold and Addie Shipman and Elizabeth Guynes.

Kevin is survived by his father, Jack G. Shipman; children, Hayley (Colton Dobbins) Shipman and Tyler Shipman; grandson, Jayce Dobbins; siblings, Terrie Snyder; Sharon (Ron) Cunningham, and Jack G. “Butch” Shipman, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, October 9, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life service for Kevin will follow at 7 pm on Monday, at the North Chapel with Reverend Brad Tucker officiating. Burial will be private on Tuesday for the family at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
