James "Jim" Raymond Rigsby Jr.

James “Jim” Raymond Rigsby, Jr., of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee passed away on July 13, 2019. He was the CEO of Acheson Foundry for 31 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. Jim enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Signal Mountain Bass Club. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, traveling, cruising and spending time with his grandchildren and family. Jim would not miss a game or event that his grandchildren were involved with. He was a lifelong Baptist.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Rigsby, Sr. and Virginia Rigsby.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara Rigsby; sons, James (Connie) Rigsby, III and Dan (Michelle) Rigsby; grandchildren, Logan Rigsby, Carlton Rigsby, Haley Rigsby and Brenden Rigsby; siblings, H. Terry (Nancy) Rigsby, Randy (Cindy) Rigsby and Diane (Rick) Putnam; brother-in-law, Ernie Lovitt; nieces, Marla Graham, Terri Lynne Rigsby, Jennifer Rigsby, Marissa Person and Cami Stainbrook; nephews, Ryan Rigsby and Paul Rigsby.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation at Parkinson.org.

A graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 1:30 pm.
