James "Jimmy" Robert Johnson

He was born on Jan. 26, 1963 in Hixson, Tennessee, and prior to becoming disabled, he was an auto Mechanic. He was an avid witness for Jesus Christ to everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Oma Lee Mitchell, Henry and Iva Mae Johnson, and John and Kathryn Davis.

Jimmy is survived by his parents, Carl and Bess Johnson; daughter, Cristal (Mark) Cain; two grandchildren; sisters, Nina (David) Carter and Cathy (Larry) Luttrell; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10 am to 1 pm on Thursday, April 14, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Jimmy will follow at 1 pm on Thursday, at the North Chapel with Pastor Matthew Ward officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
