Isabel was a lifelong fighter, having been born with Rett Syndrome. She lived her days with unfaltering strength and incredible grace through every challenge and never lost her joy. She was fiercely loved, and she reflected that love to all who met her. Her life was full of purpose and promise. Her sweet spirit was, is and will continue to be a beacon of light and hope to those here, till we see her again.
Isabel graduated high school from Gateway Christian Academy in 2011.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Henry Julius Mincke; paternal grandparents, Richard J. Dwyer and Sylvia Long Harrison.
Isabel is survived by her parents, Mark and Judith Dwyer; siblings, Meghan (Ryan) Landis, Dylan (Emily Petitt) Dwyer, Alley and Hunter Dwyer; nephews, Miles and Thatcher Landis; maternal grandmother, Alisia Clayton Mincke; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm on Friday, March 24, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Services for Isabel will follow at 2 pm on Friday, at the North Chapel with Reverend Michael Willard officiating. Burial will be held at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
