It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our precious daughter, Haley Elizabeth Cordle, who passed away on December 30th, 2024, at the young age of 33. Born in Chattanooga, Tn, Haley grew up in Hixson with her loving brother, Blake. She attended Boyd-Buchannan School and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BS degree in Geology. At the time of her death, she worked at Komatsu America Corporation.
Haley was an independent young woman who was strong-willed and free-spirited. From an early age, she loved photography, music and dancing and grew into a talented artist. She had a creative mind and was always thinking "outside the box", making life whimsical for everyone around her. She was fun-loving and generous and knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her love and generosity towards others knew no bounds. She was a beautiful soul who always remembered birthdays and offered to help anyone in need. She enjoyed traveling, a new adventure and exploring, taking the time to stop and smell the flowers and appreciate all of God's gifts around her. She loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor, leaving a smile on the face of everyone she met.
Haley lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family and friends, her beloved dog, Danner, and her beloved cats, Sebastian and Sabbath. Although Haley is gone, her light will shine in our hearts forever.
Haley was preceded in death by grandparents, Dennis and Audrie Cordle; Uncle, Joe Cordle.
She is survived by her parents, Wayne and Wanda Cordle; her brother Blake (Sara) Cordle of Birchwood, Tennessee; grandparents Jerry and Mary Nelson of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; uncles, Aaron (Ella) Cordle of Rocky Face, Georgia; Keith (Angela) Nelson of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Mike (Ellen) Nelson of Florence, Alabama; cousins, Hayden and Walsh Nelson of Florence, Alabama; Steve (Diane) Cordle of Maryville, Tennessee; Stephanie (Dennis) Carney of Cohutta, Georgia; Jeff (Leasia) Cordle of Rocky Face, Georgia; Tracie (Ray) Cochran of Eton, Georgia; and numerous special friends.
