Glenda L. Wilson, age 91 passed away on Sunday December 1, 2013. She was a graduate from Howard High Class of 1940. She was also a faithful member of Prospect Baptist Church. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents Jehu Jarrett and Della Jarrett Clark, and nephew Freddie Dave. Glenda is survived by daughter Verrita E. King; sons Charles Wilson, Jehu (Karen) Wilson all of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Mary Ruth Hester, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephew, and special friend Janet Muckle Moore.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 4, 2013 from 4pm-8pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel, Highway 153, Hixson, TN. The funeral service will be held Thursday December 5, 2013 at 1:00pm at Prospect Baptist Church with Dr. J.P. Trimble officiating.
