Glada Vincent Sedman, 83, of Hixson, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, April 16, 2010.
Glada was a longtime resident of the Hixson area and was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from DuPont.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Sedman and a son, Kevin S. Sedman.
Glada is survived by her son, Vincent (Belinda) Sedman; two grandsons, Vince Sedman and Jake Sedman; brother, Kenneth Vincent; sisters, Pauline Sims and Edna Cluff; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Sunday and 11 to 1 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Services for Glada will be held at 1 PM on Monday at the North Chapel with Pastor Kevin Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
