Mrs. Geraldine “Gerry” Rector, 80, of Hixson, TN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Velma Stevens and her brother, Harold Stevens. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Jimmy Rector; her 3 sons, LeBron, Chuck, and Michael; her daughter, Janice Pendergrass; grandchildren, Carrie Bingham, Derrick Pendergrass, Randall Pendergrass, Amy Rector Darby, Justin Rector, Heather Fairchild, Caroline Rector, and Lauren Rector, and a host of great grandchildren. By His stripes she is now healed, Isaiah 53:5
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 5th from 6-8 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel in Hixson. There will be a private funeral service for the family.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
