Gary Bond

Gary was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Wilma Bond. He graduated from The McCallie School, Furman University with a degree in history, University of Tennessee of Knoxville- School of Law and University of Chattanooga. Gary spent his career as a corporate Tax Attorney. He service on the Executive Board of the Civitan Club. He was a deacon and faithful member of First Baptist Church, where he volunteered regularly in the homeless ministry. Gary was an incredibly supportive husband, father and grandfather. He was tender, witty, eloquent, generous, and humble.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and sister Trisha Richardson.

Gary is survived by his loving family, wife, Janice Bond; sons Jeremy ( fiancé Sarah) Bond and Samuel Bond; grandsons James and Jackson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 30 from 6-8 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel and on Friday, May 1 from 12-2 pm at First Baptist Church, Golden Gate

Funeral service for Gary will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday, May 1 at Frist Baptist Church-Golden Gate with Dr. Thomas Quisenberry and Reverend Mary Jayne Allen officiating

Interment will be at a later date
