Faye Workman, 76, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 9, 2020 as a result of an automobile accident. She was a longtime resident of Red Bank, and she was retired from NK Lawn and Garden. Faye will forever be remembered, as a loving mother and grandmother, called Nana. She enjoyed growing tomatoes, cucumbers and cooking almost as good as her mother. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, church family and friends. Faye was a member of Stanley Independent Baptist Church.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Mary Smith.
Left behind to cherish Faye’s memory are her children, Jerry (Jennifier) Workman, and Nancy (Darrin) Robinson, grandchildren, Logan Workman and Brooklyn Robinson, brother, Pete (Jeannie) Smith, sister, Paula Mae (Doyal) Bean, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Faye’s Life will be held in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Monday June 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 4 – 8 pm at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in the Chattanooga Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions in Faye’s memory be made to Stanley Independent Baptist Church, 20085 River Canyon Road, Chattanooga, TN 37405.
Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist North Chapel, 5401 Hwy 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
