Eric Read Kessler

Eric was born on March 13, 1967 to Lawrence Read Kessler and Margaret Ann Kessler in Louisville, KY. Eric was employed with Walden Security as a Post Supervisor at EPB. He previously worked in route sales with Nestle Pizza and also Mayfield Dairy Farms both for 11 years each.

Eric was awaiting the birth of his granddaughter before departing to his heavenly home. He was a Christian man devoted to his wife and children. He was a disc golf fanatic and had just played his 71st course. He enjoyed playing backgammon, crokinole, and bocce ball. He adored his wife and always enjoyed cooking dinner for her. He was becoming a fishing enthusiast and looking forward to teaching his grandchildren how to fish. He will not only be missed by his family, but also by his faithful friend, his dog.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Suzie Kessler; his children, Dylan Kessler, Zachery (Amber) Kessler, and Katherine Kessler; his parents, Maggie and Larry Kessler; 3 grandchildren; and his brother, Todd Kessler; and his dog, Apollo.

Visitation is Friday, July 28th from 6-8 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 29th at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
