Mrs. Elizabeth Evelyn P Wright Rogers

Elizabeth Proctor (Lib) Rogers died on Sunday, March 6, 2011. She was 94 years young. The lifelong resident of Chattanooga and retired from City of Chattanooga Library and Skyland (Buster Brown). She was a longtime member of Tyner United Methodist Church and the Chattanooga Chapter of American Business Women’s Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Fred Rogers and sisters, Winnie Layton, Velma Burgner, Helen Brown and Jess Proctor.

Survivors include her nephew, H. Jay (Jane) Brown.

Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 9 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Mosley and Dr. Robert Haskins officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
