Eli P. Churchwell Jr., 83, of Hixson, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Eli was born in Memphis, TN to the late Eli Churchwell Sr. and Mary Frances Davis Churchwell. He started his career as a project engineer and retired as Sr. Vice President of Operations for Cannon Equipment. He was a faithful member of Red Bank Baptist Church. He enjoyed travel, outdoors, and loved spending time in the Bahamas.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Susan Churchwell; two sons, Rod (Rissa) and Scot Churchwell; and two granddaughters, Sophia and August Churchwell.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Fred Steelman officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
