I am so blessed to have known Elaine who taught me unconditional friendship.  She was always there no matter what.  I don't believe "no" was in her vocabulary when it came to an outing, activity or adventure.  Elaine was my hitting partner for over 20 years where we talked as much as we played tennis at Manker Patten.  We biked, walked and paddle boarded on the TN River, many times with our young and beloved girls, Lindsey or Aden, aboard.  We loved gardening and would compare our blooming flowers or producing veges.  We hiked and camped.  One particular camping trip at the Hiwassee River Elaine took a picture of my golden retriever, Molly, on the river bed and later presented me with a beautiful and true painting that I so proudly display in my home.  We bought $10 dresses from the Daughters of American Revolution and joined in the fun at Chattanooga's Moth Ball.  We frequented Il Primo and celebrated everything!  We rafted the Hiwassee taking Aden down the river when she was 4 or 5.  Our most recent river excursion was in October 2018 where Elaine and I floated in tubes.  Elaine conveyed her joy and loved the fun and serenity on the Hiwassee River.  Elaine was the best friend I could every have.  I think God for the time we shared and wonderful memories I will always have with my unconditional friend, until we meet again.    

Elaine was a beautiful, considerate, caring friend who will be missed!  I loved her laughter and the way she made everyone feel so special!   Her friendship was a gift that I will always treasure!

My heart was broken when I learned of Elaine’s passing.  I always thought the world of her and enjoyed every minute we spent together.  She was a beautiful lady inside & out and always a pleasure to be around.  Though we did not get to talk much, when we did and she spoke of Aden her voice would swell with pride and the love she had for both her & Wes.  My deepest sympathies to Wes, Aden, Pam, Gail, Harry & Brian.  Elaine was a treasure and she will be greatly missed.

Elaine is my cousin and I am saddened by her passing.   Elaine was always gracious and warm when there was the  occassion to be around one another.   I remember her presence when my father had a family gathering one summer day in July a few years before he passed.  Elaine and Wes were very nice and sharing  at the family get together. My heart aches for my sister-  I so want to see her again and tell her how much I love her! 

Words cannot describe how heartbroken I am to lose my sister.  She didn't deserve this.  She was such  a great mother to Aden whom she adored!  I hope she knows how much her family loves her and how much she will be missed!  

I really enjoyed working wit Elaine at Leitner,Williams, Dooley &  Napolitan, we had lots of laughs.  Elaine was a very sweet person.

I remember what a gracious hostess Elaine was when she had Pam and Mike's wedding at her beautiful home.  You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was one of Elaine’s roommates at UTC.  Elaine was so much fun.  I have such wonderful memories of our special time together.  I will always remember her beautiful smile and  us laughing together.  She wrote me one of the sweetest cards when my own sister passed away.  Her words were so comforting.  My thoughts and prayers  are with her family.  Sheila Shamblin Walker 

My childhood friend. I met her when we were 5. Her family welcomed  me in their home like I was another family member. We were like sisters. My Mother & Daddy loved her. We remained friends for life. I spent so many nights at the Mansfield’s & Elaine spent so many nights at our place in Glenwood. While we met new friends in high school, we always stayed connected. Last saw her in late March & She looked gorgeous as, always. She just kept getting prettier inside & out every time I saw her. Blessings to her family & friends. 

Elaine was a precious friend and was loved by so many people.  Her passing has left a hole in the hearts of her family and friends.  Prayers for all of those that loved this sweet soul. Elaine, you will be missed terribly and remembered always.  Wanda White Pearson
