She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence R. and Mamie Hethcoat Barker; sisters, Beatrice Barker, Dorothy Bryson, Louise Cooper, Odell Burke, and Elizabeth Adams; and her first husband, Lawrence Hudson.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Austin Russell Bonds and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, June 28, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Reverend Wayland Stewart officiating. The family will meet at the funeral home at 12:30 on Tuesday and go in a procession to the cemetery.
