Dorothy Long Pedigo

Dorothy was born in Hillsboro, Tennessee to the late John and Anna Wooten Long. She was a faithful member of Tyner Church of Christ. She was proud to be a telephone operator with Southern Bell before becoming a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Monroe Pedigo, infant daughter, Deana.

Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She always made a point to remember other people’s special days.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Roger Pedigo, David Pedigo and Janet Fuller Jones and husband, Dennis; 3 grandchildren, Jordan Fuller and wife Ashleigh, Micah and Caleb Fuller; sister, Elsie Washington; sister-in-law, Irene Long; many nieces, nephews and close friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, February 22, and 12 to 1 pm on Friday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life service for Dorothy will follow at 1 pm on Friday at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
