Dorothy Elizabeth ( Dot) Manies, 91, of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015
Elizabeth was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was an employee of South Central Bell for over 44 years. Elizabeth graduated from Central High School.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her first husband William G. Manies; second husband Tom Davis; son William D Manies; brothers Frank and Gene Reed.
Elizabeth is survived by her current husband Artie Denton; sons Jeff ( Teresa) Manies and Michael ( Linda) Manies; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; sisters Mary Ann Pritchard, Carol Brooks and Nancy Coleman.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 12:30-2:30 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel
Funeral service for Elizabeth will be conducted at 2:30pm on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bill Broom officiating
Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens
