Doris Livingston

Doris was born in Germany on January 3, 1957 to Helga Cusnick and adopted by Don and Eula Wills as a baby.

Doris fought a hard battle against small cell lung cancer for thirteen months. When she was initially diagnosed, the doctors told her she had three to four months. She set a goal of surviving a year. With God’s grace, she did.

Doris was a fighter her entire life. And at the same time, a giver. When she began chemo treatments, she would knit stocking caps and then bring them with her to her next scheduled chemo appointment and asked that they be handed out.

Doris was an amazing quilter. Almost everyone in our family, including extended family and close friends has a quilt (or something) made by her.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Livingston; son, Shane Wills and wife Lyndsay Dreu Wills; daughter, Alicha (Wills) Tobin and husband, David Tobin; brother, Lee Wills and wife, Sharon; grandchildren, Austin Wills, Trey Wills, Diamond Wills, Dominic Wills, Diesell Wills, Caley Nethery, Christin Brewer, James and Tyson Short; Along with 3 great Grandchildren many nieces and nephews and special close friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Falling Water Baptist Church, 523 Roberts Mill Rd. Hixson TN 37343 on November 13th, 2020 at 2pm.
