Donna Parker Burns, 59, of Hixson, TN went home to Heaven on Saturday, July 22, 2023. She had battled health issues for many years, but she maintained a Godly testimony and always responded gracefully.
Donna was born on July 23, 1963. She was a loving mother and was known for her big heart and fun personality. She enjoyed spending time with her son, James, and her many family members. She loved family gatherings, shopping, and trips to Gatlinburg. She attended Life Gate Baptist Church.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Uleta Parker.
She is survived by her son, James Burns (Chasity and Raycelyn); Dennis Burns; siblings, Debby (John) Case, Rick (Ginger) Parker, Danny (Ginny) Parker, Karen (Bo) Reynolds, Connie (Scott) Kilgore, Kelly (Michael) Jeno, Jason (Eden) Parker; Granddaughter Raycelyn Burnette; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Life Gate Baptist Church with a Memorial Service immediately following.
