Diane Elizabeth Wilkins

Diane Voss Wilkins, 76, passed away on Tuesday November 1st, 2022 with her family by her side after a brave battle with cancer. She will be dearly missed, she was a wonderful mother, wife and friend to all who knew her.

She was born to the late Heil & Nadine Cook, February 26th, 1946 in Vicksburg, MS. She attended Lafayette High School in Lafayette, LA, followed by college at the University Of Louisiana Lafayette. She lived in Anniston, Alabama for many years, followed by North Muskegon, Michigan and finally Chattanooga, TN, where she retired. She was a successful realtor with Better Homes & Gardens for over 35 years and loved helping families find their “forever” homes. She loved Chattanooga and made an impact on so many throughout her career, even working with multiple generations within the same family. People always called her the consummate professional with a heart of gold.

Her only child and daughter Christine was her best friend and the apple of her eye. She loved spending time with her and always said her favorite job on earth was being a mom. She was a huge dog lover and owned them all her life. She met her husband Haley over 20 years ago and called him the love of her life. She had never been happier. After retiring, they enjoyed hobbies together such as fishing, boating, chess games and watching football together.

She is survived by her only daughter, Christine and husband, Haley. There will be a visitation for Diane on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 11:00am-1:30pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel in Hixson. In lieu of flowers, we ask that a memorial donation in her name be made to St.Jude Hospital, which was her favorite charity.
