She was a proud graduate of Brainerd High school.
Debbie's greatest loves were her Nephew Tyler and her dog Lacey. She was a loyal UT Vols fan and loved Peyton Manning. Just below Peyton on her list was Elvis, The Rock, and Jason Momoa. She always had a smile and positive attitude even though her body was failing her. She was a Christian and ready to go to heaven.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Joseph (Bob) Workman.
She is survived by her sister Tammy Barnes, brother-in- law Tim Barnes and Nephew Tyler Barnes. She will be deeply missed by her immediate family plus many extended family members and friends.
Debbie was one of the most kind and sweetest people who was always concerned about others and never met a stranger. She was feisty and tough which is how she overcame so much in her life.
A special thank you to Danielle Widener as she was a special friend and caregiver in her final days and also to Hospice of Chattanooga .
A celebration of life visitation for Debbie will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel.
A graveside committal service will occur Monday, January 29, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343-3720.
