Deborah Fox Harwood of Hixson passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in a local hospital. Deborah was a native of Chattanooga and graduated from Soddy Daisy High School in 1974. She attended Red Bank Church of God until she was no longer able to go.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Harwood; parents, Edward and Sarah Fox; brother, Ralph Fox; nephew, Jimmy Hixson. Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Marvin Hixson; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Janis Fox; nephew, Michael Hixson; and special cousin Georgina and Wesley Rigsby; and several cousins.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 18th from 11 am to 1 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gene Welch officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
