Passed away, surrounded by loving family on Sunday, September 29th. He was many things to many people—a loving father, brother, uncle, friend, and colleague. He was remembered in the radio community as “Commander Dean,” and left behind a reputation of inventiveness, creativity, and fun. To his family, he left behind a legacy of steadiness and strength and a depth of love that will remain with us.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Wendy, and his parents. He leaves behind his children, Amber Hunter and Jacob Tobler, as well as his grandsons, Logan, Peyton, and Patrick Hunter. He is also survived by his sister and dearest friend, Beth Ann (Ray) Arrigo, his brother, Kenneth (Mac) Tobler, and several beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at his home in Harrison, TN on Saturday, October 5th from 2-4 PM., with an additional gathering for family held immediately afterward. Caribbean attire is encouraged.
