David C Harris

He played several musical instruments, worked on computers, and was in a bowling league.

David spent his time working as a prison guard, then switched to doing mortgages.

Later he met his wife of 17 years Karen, and son Zachary in Avon Park FL. They later moved to Hixson TN.

David enjoyed his time with family and friends. He spent his time collecting baseball cards, coins, and antique guns. He also enjoyed riding in his 1964 1/2 Mustang and Razor, he was also a hardcore Miami Hurricane, and Miami Dolphins fan.

David was a kind and generous person always there to help out, he was great about remembering birthdays and anniversaries, and always ready with a joke. He will truly be missed by family and friends and especially his fur babies Trooper and Snuggie.

David is preceded in death by his father, Nate Harris; sister, Charlene Harris, brother in law, Steve Weatherford, and brother, Larry Harris.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Harris; his son, Zachary Antley; his mother, Willodene Harris;

his siblings, Roger (Sarah) Harris, Alice Weatherford, Johnie (Kathy) Harris, Judy Harris, Connie Peacock, Laura (Mike) Harris, Nita Harris, Thurmond (Brenda) Harris, Shirley Harris, Ellen Harris, Terry (Amy) Harris, and several nieces and nephews.

Services for David will be private.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
