He was retired from US Pipe and Foundry Company after 23 years. In his retirement, he enjoyed traveling to visit his grandchildren, fishing, fixing anything broken, cooking, and baking the most amazing bread.
David is survived by his wife, Jenny Brodsky, of 55 years; along with his two children Irene Brodsky Herrmann and her husband, Kenrick; and Edward Brodsky and his wife Paige. David also left behind three grandchildren: Pierce Herrmann, Emmery Herrmann, and Bryce Brodsky.
Memorial service will be held at the Mizpah Cemetery on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 3:00 PM. Address is 866 East Third Street, Chattanooga, TN 37403. In lieu of flowers, please send donations Mizpah Congregation or the American Lung Association.
