Curtis H. Gossett of Chattanooga, TN went home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2022.
Curtis graduated from Kirkman High School in 1951. He retired from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2002.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vauldon C. and Mary Geneva Ashley Gossett.
Curtis is survived by his wife of 70 years, Peggy J. Gossett, and his children; 2 daughters, Casey Matthews and Janice Gossett, and son, Tony (Beth) Gossett. Grandkids; Ondria Gossett, and Amanda (James) Collins; and great-grandkids, Paige Collins, and Mason Gossett.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 12:30 PM in Chattanooga Memorial Park, with Brother Eddie Ellison officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
