Chester Lee Davis

He was born and raised in Athens, TN to the late William and Marjorie Davis. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Lucy Britt Davis, brothers, Edward, Ted, John, Jude and sister, Alice.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his son, Scott (Angie) Davis of Ooltewah, TN, daughter, Nancy (Martin) Jones of Dallas, TX, granddaughter, Mindy (Brandon) Robinson of Chattanooga, TN, grandson, Cole Davis of Savannah, Ga, sisters, Eldora Davis of Riceville, TN and Betty Pullin of Ohio, sister-in-law, Edna Dixon of GA and several nieces and nephews.

Chester was a Barber and owner for Davis Barber Shop on Hwy 58 for many years. He loved hunting. He was a member of the Harrison United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Harrison for many years.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral home.

A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 in the funeral home with Chaplain Kevin Becker officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
