Buford H. Meadows, 83, of Crossville, Tennessee died Monday, December 19, 2022. He was born June 18, 1939 in Beckley, West Virginia to the late Dewey and Margaret Meadows. His sister, Penny, preceded him in death.
Mr. Meadows was retired from Borden’s Dairy. In his retirement, he worked for Chattanooga Golf and Country Club and the Dorchester Golf and Country Club in Fairfield Glade. He loved to play golf. He enjoyed the outdoors, his pets and especially spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Beverley Meadows, children, Anita Meadows, and Rick (Astrid) Meadows, sisters, Dorothy Cockrum, Carolyn Magee, Linda Corbitt, and Mable Slate, brother, Bill Meadows, grandchildren, Jacinta, Diana, Charlene, and Kevin, several grand/great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday, December 23 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-2 Friday.
