Brittany Rogers

November 29, 1985-- June 5, 2015

Brittany was a native of Ooltewah, Tennessee born on November 29, 1985 to Teresa “Teri” Sue Hamby and Charles “Buddy” Rogers. Brittany graduated from Ooltewah High School in 2004, where she was Co-Captain of the OHS soccer team. After high school, Brittany went on to attend Chattanooga State Community College.

Brittany has a bubbly spirit and unforgettable smile that always made everyone who met her feel warm inside. She always encouraged others and often would leave notes or send messages to others to brighten their day or show how grateful she was to have them in her lives.

By day, Brittany was known as “Mommy” to her 6-year-old son, Brennan Wall. She spent much of her time at his school functions and little league sporting events. Being a good mom took priority to everything in her life. Brittany was often seen with Brennan by her side be it at the park, a Lookouts game, or at the grocery store. He was the highlight of her life and foundation to her ambition.

Brittany was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend to all. Brittany is survived by son Brennan Michael Wall, her parents and step-parents, Teresa “Teri” Sue Hamby (David Hamby) and Charles “Buddy” Rogers (Sandee Rogers) of Ooltewah, Tennessee; younger sister Brooke Rogers; step sister Katlyn Murphy and several other step-siblings; fiancee Jason Maples; grandparents on both sides B. J. Sue, William “Bill” Sue (Karen Sue), Dorothy “Dot” and Charles “Bud” Rogers; aunts and uncles Beth and Shane Davis, Justin and Nikki Sue; Bill Sue, Jr.; Eric Crammer; Phil Rogers; Mike and Michelle Rogers.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 and on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 11-1 pm, at Chattanooga Funeral Home – North Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 11, 2015 with interment immediately following at Lakewood Memory Gradens- East with Pastor Dwight Kilbourne of Ooltewah UMC officiating.
