Brian Nelson McClure was born on August 19, 1958 in Chattanooga, TN. Brian passed away on November 1, 2022, in Chattanooga, where he was born, raised and spent all of his life. He graduated from Hixson High School in 1976.
Brian opened Mountain City Tile in the late 1990s, and spent his life doing what he loved. He had a passion for design and poured himself into making houses a home for so many around the Chattanooga area, as well as making dreams come true for business owners around the country.
He was a friend to everyone he met, and his doors were always open for anyone that needed a place to go. He had a heart for entertaining and his home was always filled with friends and laughter. He was a passionate Tennessee Football fan, and never missed a game or an opportunity to celebrate the game with those that he loved.
He enjoyed cars of any kind, old and new, and the business of buying and selling them. This skill and interest was passed down to him by his late father, and he carried the legacy on with pride. The beach was his favorite place, and he spent as much time as he could in Daytona, FL with his abundance of friends that he knew and loved down there. This is where he found himself the most at peace, watching the sunrise and the sunset.
As the sun has set on his life here on Earth, so many are heartbroken by the loss of him, but we know that he has once again found his peace in Heaven watching the sunrise and sunset alongside his heavenly Father. He will be missed, but we rest in knowing that he will be making sure that we enjoy the beauty of the passing days here on Earth until we meet again.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Jackie McClure.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Maggie (Thomas) Williams; grandchildren, Hallie, Macie and Tripp Williams; sister, Kim (Mike) Dalton; beloved friend, Bill Pritchett, and all of his friends that he loved as family.
The family will receive friends at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Sunday, November 6th, from 5 pm until 7 pm, and Monday November 7th, from 1 pm until 2 pm, with graveside funeral at Hamilton Memorial Gardens immediately following.
