He was born August 22, 1947 in Harrison, Tennessee to the late Viola & Arthur Davis.
He was a former employee for the State of Tennessee.
His brothers, Arthur Franklin, Jr. & Bobby Davis preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Bobby Davis and Debra Davis of Cleveland; sisters, Jo Ann Brantly of Atlanta; Marvin Davis, Peggy Head and Gladys all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, D. J. Holloway, Marie Holloway, and Crystal Freeman; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January, 20, 2018 from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Bill Harvey officiating.
Burial will follow at New McDonald Cemetery.
