Mrs. Lawson was born in Long Beach, California to the late Bess Tipton Dystra. She was a life-long resident of Chattanooga, was of the Baptist faith, and previously self-employed in the family business. Billie will always be remembered as a very loving Mother and Grandmother.
Surviving are her son, James Greg Lawson, and wife, Cathy; daughter, Deborah L. Lawson Rogers; grandchildren, James Scott Lawson, Christina Lawson, Christopher Lawson, Sabrina Dawn Rogers, Shannon Krasser, Amanda Johnson and Troy R. Leming; and great-grandchildren, Conner, Cameran, and Gage.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:30 PM at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery.
