Barry Ellis Pearson, age 65, of Ooltewah, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, August 26, 2024. He was born to Ellis and Gayle Pearson June 9, 1959 in Manchester, Tennessee. Barry worked for THS Foodservice where he sold food products to several Chattanooga restaurants. He was a member of Bayside Baptist Church for 35 years. Barry also sang in the choir and was a member of Turning Point, a gospel quartet. His favorite past time was spending time with his grandkids and family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ellis Pearson; his sister, Judith Pearson Watts; and his grandparents, George Washington "Josh" and Ozelle "Mama Tootsie" Smith.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Pennie Pearson; daughters, Heather (Nicholas) Clark and Victoria Kjeldgaard; daughters-in-love, Savannah Knuettel and Stephanie Templeton; grandkids, Alyssa Williams, Ansley Williams, Emma Clark, Noah Kjeldgaard, and Asher Kjeldgaard; mother, Gayle Pearson; brothers, Greg (Kathy) Pearson, Steve (Glenda) Pearson, and Roger (Kellyn) Pearson; and a host of in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

The family will have a visitation Friday, August 30, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:30 at Bayside Baptist Church, 6100 Highway 58 Harrison, TN 37341. A Celebration of Life Service will follow the visitation at the church.
