She attended Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL
Lived most of her adult life in Atlanta, GA and was very active in her churches there. She was a past president of the Georgia Chapter of the WMU.
Lived in Signal Mountain, TN since 1999 and has been active at Signal Crest United Methodist Church
She was preceded in death by her parents, D.C. and Alba Hall of Canoe, AL, brother, Farrar Hall and her husband, M. Douglas Prater
Survivors include her two children, Cheryl (Tim) Armstrong of Florida and Mark (Diane) Prater of Florida, grandchildren, Erin (Brad) Charcutt of Chicago, Kate (Kent) Hansen of Chicago and Matt (Zane) Prater of Florida and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by many, many close friends in the Signal Mountain area.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home 5401 Hwy 153,Hixson, TN Thursday April 7 , 2016 from 10-11.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 Thursday at Signal Crest United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Signal Crest United Methodist Church of Signal Mountain, TN.
