A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she retired in March 1994 from Wheland Foundries and North American Royalties after 38 years of service as a receptionist and telephone operator.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Stewart M. McFadden; parents Marion and Dovie Hale; two sisters, one brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Alisa M. Lonas.

Anyone attending the graveside is asked to abide by all Covid CDC mandates, such as wearing a mask and social distancing.
Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon Thursday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Lou Parsons officiating.
There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Highway 153.
