Ashley Barbara Murray, age 37, of Signal Mountain, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 31, 2023.

She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. Ashley is currently employed with the Hamilton County Emergency Communications District as a 9-1-1 dispatcher. She loved and adored her daughter and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kimberly Ann Murray; maternal grandparents, William C. and Barbara Ann McAllister; grandmother, Sarah Lou Murray.

Ashley is survived by her daughter, Brianna (Bryant) Yelverton; grandchildren, Gunner and Canyon; father, Alonzo Murray; sisters, Allison (Ryan) Hampton and Tasha Murray; aunt, Kathy (Roger) Wallace; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday, August 12, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Ashley’s life will follow at 3 pm on Saturday, at the North Chapel.
